I was born and raised in Ottawa Ontario, and became fascinated with construction at a young age. When my parents had rooms added to our basement, I was captivated by the carpenters at work. Not a day went by without me asking them questions. That early spark led me to pursue hands-on work in the construction industry. Whether it was concrete work or framing houses, I was hooked. I briefly attended college for architecture, but soon realized I craved being hands on, outdoors and creating in real time. Sitting behind a desk was not for me.

Over the years since, I’ve worked on several amazing projects. Highlights include numerous heritage structures across my hometown of Ottawa, and the city’s first New York style condos at the “Wallace House” located on Rideau Street.

 

Now, with over 35 years in the industry, my passion for bringing visions to life has been a great joy, and it hasn't ever felt like work. That's how I know I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do.
